Provides support in the area of CNI systems development to programs managed by 478 AESW. These include, but are not limited to strategic, business and action planning; program management, risk management, systems alignment; cycle time; process and productivity improvement; organization assessments; high performance work; leadership systems; performance measures and indicators; and program audits and evaluations.
Must also provide expertise concerning the design, development and integration of highly complex CNI architectures and systems, including knowledge and experience concerning Global Task Strike Force, Air-Air Superiority, Advanced Tactical Data Link, Communications, Navigation, Surveillance / Air Traffic Management (CNS / ATM), Selective Availability Anti Spoofing Module (SAASM), and Identification Friend or Foe (IFF) Mode 5 / S. In this capacity, knowledge in the areas of technical management of large scale development efforts and technical acumen of integrated avionics architecture bus structures, fiber optic systems, embedded computer systems, integrated diagnostics and general hardware / software integration processes is required, this may also include studies, analysis and reports documenting any proposed developmental, consultative or implementation efforts / recommendations.
Experience Required:
Communications-Navigation Integration Engineering is required.
Bachelor’s Degree in professional engineering (an advanced degree is desired), and a minimum of 20 years experience in the required task area of which 5 years shall be in the recognized specialty area.
