The Manufacturing Manager is responsible for managing the activities within a production area to meet production, cost, quality and safety goals. Plans, organizes, and implements manufacturing procedures in accordance with managed quarterly and annual budgets. May make budgetary recommendations and coordinate procurement for capital expenditures. Selects, hires, and trains personnel. Responsible for the planning, coordination, and direction of all production operations to ensure maximum throughput and quality. Handles special projects as assigned.

As a Manufacturing Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing and managing front-line manufacturing employees. Typically managing hourly employee populations.

  • Handling shift handovers and reporting /solving issues in production, quality and safety.

  • Leading safe working practices and implementing and enforcing EHS policy for all Operational Personnel.

  • Planning and implementing manufacturing procedures in accordance with managed quarterly and annual budgets.

  • Following up on daily production issues and shortages with planners and operations leader.

  • Developing, coordinating, leading and executing daily production plans.

  • Reporting product defects, ensuring these are resolved and reporting solutions.

  • Observing and reporting malfunction of equipment and following through for maintenance issues.

  • This is position will work 2nd shift - 5pm-5am Monday- Friday plus overtime as needed

Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Bachelor's degree OR 8+ years experience in a production management

  • 3 plus years of experience leading in a manufacturing environment

  • 3 plus experience generating production/manufacturing reports

  • 2 plus experience with a ERP system

  • Lean or Six Sigma background is preferred

  • Profit/loss background is a plus but not required

  • Solid oral and written communication skills.

  • Have an aptitude to be trained in new procedures and methods.

  • Experience understanding ISO and API requirements and procedures.

  • Have an understanding of modern manufacturing methods and techniques.

Working patterns - this is position will work 2nd shift - 5pm-5am Monday- Friday plus overtime as needed
