About the role:

As a Business Channel Financial Analyst for MSFI, you'll have your finger on the financial pulse of the entire organization. Working with a diverse team, you'll be responsible for developing, interpreting, and implementing financial analysis and concepts for the channel.

About the team:

Merchant Solutions for Financial Intuitions (MSFI) is one of our primary merchant channels for the US SME market as we partner with various Financial institutions to offer an array of commerce solutions to their Commercial and Small Business banking customers.

What you will be doing:

* Perform a range of financial analysis and reporting specific to our MSFI P&L to dive deeper into the what and the why in conjunction with our Finance team.

* Act as a liaison with our Finance team for the MSFI channel

* Gather, analyze, prepare and summarize recommendations for business financial plans, product activity, trended future requirements and business operating forecasts.

* Provide trend analysis and gather insights on the portfolio, including customer volumes, compression, and deeper level sales trends .

* Perform technical analysis to determine present and future financial performance.

* Research and compile data to forecast and prepare annual and monthly budget projections for a division or similar group of organizations.

* Track revenue and expenses on a monthly basis, comparing actual to forecasted figures and make necessary adjustments.

* Perform economic research and studies in areas of rates of return, depreciations, working capital requirements, investment opportunities, investment performance and impact of governmental requirements.

* Prepare reports for management summarizing results of research, analyses and evaluation of any discrepancies.

What you will need:
* Bachelor's degree is required, Finance or Accounting highly preferred
* Good understanding of generally accepted accounting principles as well as company accounting policies, procedures and standards
* Ability to analyze and solve problems using learned techniques and tools
* Analytical and statistical examination skills
* Demonstrated ability to plan and accomplish work to ensure critical deadlines are met

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $105,070.00 - $176,520.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
