Why this role is important at Ipsos:

This is the gateway into client service at Ipsos. As a Senior Research Analyst, you play a role in supporting the delivery of strategic insights to our clients through the execution of research projects. Your work includes a variety or studies requiring sharp time management skills and a keen attention to detail. This is a position where you will learn to be a major force in quantitative research design and gain experience managing key market research projects.

What you can expect to be doing:

  • Making research happen: Coordinating and managing survey research projects on time and on budgets, working closely with our buddies in other departments. Assisting and ultimately soloing in questionnaire and methods/project management.
  • Getting into their business: Working on questionnaire design and analysis planning. Developing an understanding of our clients' business issues and the industries in which they operate. Bringing it every day.
  • Show off your skills: As you progress and develop, you will get to analyze and interpret survey results; help prepare client reports and presentations. Find new spins on data viz. attend and learn at the presentation stage.
  • Focus on executional excellence with increased independence
  • Support multiple projects and gradually builds increased responsibility and independence
  • Understand the project lifecycle and manages projects from client approval to deliverables with project lead oversight
  • Collaborate with internal partners and project lead in project execution
  • Manage project timelines
  • Work with senior team members to understand the business needs of the client and translate them into an appropriate research design
  • Support multiple projects/priorities and work towards resolving problems that arise
  • Write shopper questionnaires and quizzes
  • Test survey materials and data portal updates
  • Work closely with colleagues in our field and tech teams on all aspects of research execution
  • Accept responsibility for the accuracy, thoroughness, quality, and timeliness of client deliverables
  • As role progresses there may be opportunities to serve as the day-to-day lead on small projects
  • Participate in mentorship of new Analysts and Interns. This may include shadowing on projects and providing guidance on tasks throughout the project lifecycle
  • Manage internal project partners with increased independence, in order to help keep the project/tasks on schedule and within scope
  • Participate in initiatives that support our service line (i.e. growth/new product/employee training & engagement)

This might be the job for you if you have:

  • Completed Bachelor's Degree in a related field
  • 1-2 years of market research experience; customer experience research an asset
  • Questionnaire design, sampling approaches, and tabulation planning counts
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite; specifically, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
  • Superior organizational skills, unflagging attention to detail & demonstrated commitment to the accuracy and completeness of information
  • Data savvy with a strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Basic knowledge of SPSS and/or other quantitative reporting tools
  • Prior experience using Sassie or any other related mystery shopping platforms a plus
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a strong client service orientation
  • Ability to manage complex, multi-faceted project budgets and to create, manage, and commit to a project plan, schedule and budget
  • Highly motivated, self-directed & possess a driven personality capable of working within tight deadlines
  • Thrives within a team environment
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills with well-developed interpersonal and presentation skills

In accordance with NY/CO/CA/WA law, the estimated base salary range for this role is $61,000 to $68,000. Your final base salary will be determined based on several non-discriminatory factors which may include but are not limited to location, work experience, skills, knowledge, education and/or certifications.
