Administers the training records of the ARFF department in compliance with FAA requirements.
Ensures Optimum performance and preparedness by developing standardized training and quality assurance in compliance with FAA directives.
Directs and supervises service testing of ARFF apparatus and extinguishing systems. Maintains administrative records for the ARFF department.
Works with local fire department and other emergency response agencies to meet objectives of the Airport Emergency Plan. Available to emergency call-back as necessary and directed. Commands emergencies using NIMS (Unified Command). Keep up to date on any FAA directives that would apply to the ARFF department. Keep superiors informed of those changes.
