Position Description:
Ryerson has an opportunity for an Customer Engagement Specialist position. As an Customer Engagement Specialist, you are responsible for ensuring orders are correctly processed with minimal assistance, develop steady customer base, and make some in-person sales calls.

Roles and Responsibilities:

* Processes customer orders, makes sales calls and works to establish relationships with customers
* Build territory/account approach and monitor resources
* Works with different departments to execute account development plans
* Works within established procedures with a moderate degree of supervision
* Identifies problems and all relevant issues in straightforward situations, assesses each using standard procedures and makes sound decisions
*Prioritizes concurrent customer's demands and provides satisfactory service to all
* All other duties as assigned or duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice

Position Requirements:
* Bachelor's Degree is preferred
* 1-3 years prior sales or metal industry experience preferred
* Solid understanding of product offerings, ERP system and markets served
* Excellent professional written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills required.
* Proficiency within Microsoft applications (Outlook, Excel, Word) required
