Job Functions:
  • Manage and maintain the ATI Safety Reporting Platform by analyzing, processing and tracking safety reports submitted to various tracks, including FOQA and ASAP. Communicate and coordinate between Safety, RC, CPO and other depts. Concerning safety reporting with emphasis on closing, disposing or relisting reports.
  • Plan, coordinate and perform Safety Promotion functions, including: preparing SMS training, ASAP training, develop, publish and disseminate monthly/quarterly and other safety reports for ATI, FAA, etc.
  • Work with FOQA analyst in performing FOQA and ASAP data mining, queries, analyzing and tabulating to be use in reporting platforms. Provide that data to company personnel as requested.
  • Schedule, conduct and document all ASAP ERC/Fatigue meetings and notes with appropriate personnel.
  • Provides and articulates information regarding safety of flight issues within ATI. Acts as an information conduit to bring safety of flight issues to the attention of management and to deliver safety information to ATI employees.
  • Perform duties relating to supporting and maintaining an effective relationship with ATI employees and management that ensures ease of communication related to safety issues.
  • Coordinate with Reg. Compliance, Security and IEP personnel to ensure overall departmental communication and coordination relating to safety concerns.
  • Additional duties as assigned by the Manager of Safety/DSSRC.

Position Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in aviation; or safety programs, duties, functions.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office and familiar with database concepts.
  • Detail oriented, with an ability to prioritize multiple objectives in a dynamic environment.
  • Ambitious, proactive and well-motivated.
  • Ability to excel with minimum supervision when needed.

Preferred Job Skills:

  • Two years of equivalent level Flight Operations, Ground Operations, Maintenance, or Bachelors Degree in Business or Aviation.
  • FAA Pilot, Dispatch or A/P License
  • Experience and/or education in aviation safety.
  • Previous experience in data analysis

Physical Requirements:

  • Employees are regularly required to, stand, sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard.
  • Comply with ATI attendance requirements
