Role Responsibilities:
Leads the efforts toward the achievement and adherence to quality management systems such as ISO 9001: 2015. Develops an approves policies and procedures to support these systems
Coordinates plant preparation for third party quality audits. Organizes and communicates corrective action plans resulting from audits
Develops and implements policies and procedures directly related to quality assurance activities such as Corrective & Preventative Actions, PPAP, SPC, and Gage R&R
Provides work direction, leadership, and developmental opportunities for quality functions such as quality engineering, product testing, receiving inspection, gauge control, in-process inspection, etc
Plans new and existing product and transfer product inspections reviews. (PPAP and SPPAP)
Investigates all internal and external non-conformances regarding quality. Communicates findings to applicable personnel with documented root cause and corrective actions
Plans receiving, in process, and final/dock audit inspections and assurances
Problem-solves customer issues with non-conforming mechanical devices
Leads the Material Review Board (MRB) efforts to determine the disposition of non-conforming materials
Plans, promotes, and organizes training activities related to product quality and reliability
Collaborates with corporate quality team on strategic quality objectives
Manufacturing sites customer facing quality representative
Assists organization in the implementation of lean concepts, standardized work, and continuous improvement initiatives
The ability to build relationships, improve performance, deliver results, and create clear accountability
Complies with all EHS and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) policies and procedures
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in related field
1+ year of Quality management experience in an ISO & Lean Manufacturing environment
