Education and Experience:
High school diploma.
Necessary Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Understanding of all aspects of metal printing lithography. Computer skills. Oral and written communication skills. Well-rounded background, exposed to various cultures and manufacturing positions. Must have planning and organization skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent field. Management experience in metal printing and coating process, product production, and quality control. Ability to lead and motivate. Knowledge of State, Federal OSHA, and EPA laws.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED:
Works under the general direction of the Department Manager.

The noise level of the work environment is loud, requiring ear protection. The condition of the air is normal. The surface on which work is performed is level. Approximately 5 hours per day are spent working under time pressures, while approximately 3 hours per day are spent working rapidly. 20% of the time is spent working in an office. 100% of the time is spent indoors.

Addendum for Production Supervisors Responsible for Hazardous Waste
Training Requirements:
Annually trained by a qualified Environmental Training Coordinator in identifying wastes, the types of wastes used at the facility, waste accumulation, storage time limits, satellite accumulation, container management, proper labeling, emergency response, spill cleanup, and manifest signing.
Working Responsibilities:
Ensure that all policies and procedures related to hazard material and waste, including health and safety, are strictly adhered to by all department employees on a daily basis. Provide guidance to departmental employees concerning information about waste streams generated within the department and the hazards associated with waste chemicals. Provide guidance to departmental employees of proper plant routine waste management procedures. Conducts and documents required weekly inspections or ensures the inspection is completed by another fully qualified person. Signage of hazardous waste manifests after reviewing and verifying the accuracy of the document.
