Amyx is seeking a Senior Cost and Price Analyst to support the upcoming Global Logistics and Support Services contract with Army Sustainment Command at Rock Island, IL. This position is contingent upon contract award.
In this role, you will provide direct cost and price analysis support for numerous service contracts, ensuring contract performance aligns with projected costs.
Required:
* Bachelors degree with at least 10 years technical experience in the area of cost analysis and cost estimating in support of service contracts
* Active DoD Secret security clearance
* Comprehensive knowledge of a wide range of financial and management concepts, principles, objectives, and methodologies.
* Demonstrated knowledge and skills in Agency PPBE and cost accounting standards according to the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense FAR Supplement (DFARS).
* Knowledge of cost analysis principles, methodologies, theories, and techniques of analysis and evaluation, along with knowledge of standardized cost analysis practices and procedures as it pertains to operation of service contracts.
* Knowledge of established cost analysis principles and the skill in applying analytical and evaluative techniques.
* Thorough knowledge of contractor performance and techniques for anticipating cost overruns, schedule slippages, to maintain a continuous surveillance over actions; and to anticipate, surface, and correct potential program problems.
* Knowledge of analytical techniques (e.g., linear regression, linear programming, critical path analysis, network theory)
* Ability to communicate orally, in writing and to produce information through the use of computers and software programs.
* Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel at the intermediate level (processing and analyzing data).
Desired:
* Experience supporting ASC worldwide contingency logistics efforts
* More than 15 years total experience
